ITS AP 2009 Confirmed Keynote Speakers

The ITS-AP 2009 conference program is now packed full of influential industry players and is set to be a landmark event for the ITS community. Among our speakers at the event we are proud to announce the following Keynote speakers:

	Mr. Hiroyuki Watanabe, Chairman of ITS Japan "Advancement of ITS in Japan" Progressively reconceptualize multifunctional "outside the box" thinking through inexpensive methods of empowerment. Compellingly morph extensive niche markets with mission-critical ideas. Phosfluorescently deliver bricks-and-clicks strategic theme areas rather than scalable benefits.
	Mr. Vincent Blervaque, ERTICO - ITS Europe "How ITS is used in daily life?" Mr. Vincent Blervaque graduated in Computer Engineering at the University of Compiegne (France) in 1990. He has 5 years of software development experience and 14 years experience in project management, especially in the field of R&D and implementation of new technologies (simulation, ITS). He joined ERTICO in 2001 as Project and Development Manager. Since 2004, he has been coordinating map related activities including SpeedAlert, the ADASIS Forum and the MAPS&ADAS subproject within PReVENT Integrated Project (EC DG INFSO). In 2007, he became Head of Deployment Department supervising eSafety activities, TMC Forum and International Cooperation and developing Field Operational Test activities. Since April 2008, he has been Director of Development and Deployment of ERTICO ? ITS Europe.
	Mr. Chullho Lieu, President of Korea Expressway Corp. "ITS and Sustainable Mobility" Mr. Chullho Lieu is President of Korea Expressway Corporation, since 2008. He is also Chairman of ITS Korea. He is among the "Top 10 Korean Contractors". He obtained a degree in Civil Engineering from Seoul National University, Korea and Masters in Business Administration from Ajoo University, Korea.
	Mr. Christer Karlsson, Chairman ITS Sweden "The Latest ITS Actions in Europe" Mr. Christer Karlsson has a Master of Science degree and has been working in the field of ITS since 1984. He was responsible for the establishment of the Road Weather System in 1996 at SRA and since 1988 the establishment of the Traffic management and traffic information system. He has been CEO for LK Limited since 1998. He has also been the CEO of ITS-Sweden since 1999.
	Michael Noblett, Vice President, Business Development-Automotive, CONNEXIS, USA "ITS Trends in The US" Mr. Michael Noblett is Vice President, Business Development for Connexis. He is internationally recognized as an expert in automotive electronics and wireless communications. He spent nearly 20 years in leadership roles with General Motors Corporation and its subsidiary, OnStar, and he served as Program Manager for the Automotive Multimedia Interface Collaboration (AMIC). He is Chair of ISO/TC 204, the international standards committee for Intelligent Transport Systems, Chair of the Automotive, Telecommunications & Consumer Electronics Forum of ITS America, and General Chair for the 15th Annual World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems in 2008 in New York City.
	Dr. Young-Jun MOON, The Korea Transport Institute (KOTI), Republic of Korea "Green Intelli Travel Society (G-ITS)" Dr. Young-Jun MOON is a Research Fellow at the Department of Advanced Transportation Research, The Korea Transport Institute. He received his Ph.D. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), USA. He was a Member of Board of Director (BOD) of ITS World Congress from 2007-2008. From 2006 to present, he has been a Member of International Program Committee (IPC) of ITS World Congress.
	Mr. Satoshi Kogure, Associate Senior Engineer, Quasi-Zenith Satellite System, Project Team, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, Japan "Introduction to Japanes Augmentation System, QZSS" Mr. Satoshi Kogure is an associate senior engineer of Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). He received an MS in aeronautical engineering from Nagoya University in 1993 and an MS in aerospace engineering from University of Colorado in 2001. He started his career at satellite operation division in National Space Development Agency (NASDA), former JAXA in 1993. He has been working for satellite positioning system as a satellite systems engineer since 2001. He is a member of Japan Society for Aeronautical and Space Science as well as U.S. Institute of Navigation.
